From a scheduled SANY Pumpcrete Truck inspection to a same-day HOWO Tractor Head assessment, Happy Hoisters Inc. provided Acciona-DMCI with inspection, replacement parts, and preventive maintenance support.
What began as a scheduled inspection of a SANY Pumpcrete Truck developed into a broader heavy equipment support engagement involving a same-day HOWO Tractor Head inspection, replacement parts supply, and preventive maintenance services for Acciona-DMCI.
Reliable heavy equipment is essential to construction operations, particularly when units such as pumpcrete trucks and tractor head trucks are involved in daily site activities. Equipment downtime can affect schedules, manpower utilization, material movement, and overall project productivity. For this reason, proper inspection, timely replacement of worn components, and regular preventive maintenance are important in keeping heavy equipment safe, reliable, and ready for operation.
Happy Hoisters Inc.’s engagement with Acciona-DMCI began with a scheduled inspection of one of the company’s SANY Pumpcrete Trucks. The initial objective was to evaluate the condition of the unit, identify components that required attention, and provide technical recommendations based on the actual findings of our mechanics.
However, the project quickly developed beyond the original scope.
After our technical team completed the inspection of the SANY Pumpcrete Truck, Acciona-DMCI’s head mechanic requested that Happy Hoisters Inc. also inspect one of their HOWO Tractor Head Trucks on the same day. With our mechanics already on site, the team proceeded with the additional inspection, allowing Acciona-DMCI to have another important unit assessed without having to schedule a separate technical visit.
The engagement eventually expanded further when Acciona-DMCI purchased the required replacement parts identified during the inspection from Happy Hoisters Inc. The working relationship later progressed into Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS), turning what originally started as a single equipment inspection into a broader heavy equipment maintenance and support project.
Starting with a SANY Pumpcrete Truck Inspection
The project began when Happy Hoisters Inc. was requested to conduct an inspection of an Acciona-DMCI SANY Pumpcrete Truck.
Pumpcrete trucks, also commonly referred to as concrete pump trucks, perform an important role in construction operations by helping transfer and place concrete efficiently at project sites. Because these units operate under demanding working conditions, regular inspection is necessary to detect potential mechanical concerns before they develop into more serious equipment problems.
During the scheduled inspection, Happy Hoisters Inc.’s technical team assessed the condition of the SANY Pumpcrete Truck and checked the areas that required further attention. The purpose of the inspection was not simply to identify visible defects, but to help Acciona-DMCI understand the unit’s condition and determine the appropriate next steps for maintenance and parts replacement.
Our mechanics documented the findings and identified components that needed replacement or servicing. These recommendations provided Acciona-DMCI with a clearer basis for determining which maintenance actions should be prioritized.
For heavy equipment operators and construction companies, this type of inspection can help reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns by identifying developing problems before they significantly affect equipment availability.
A Same-Day Request to Inspect a HOWO Tractor Head Truck
After completing the scheduled inspection of the SANY Pumpcrete Truck, the scope of the engagement expanded.
Acciona-DMCI’s head mechanic approached our technical team and requested an additional inspection of one of their HOWO Tractor Head Trucks. Since Happy Hoisters Inc.’s mechanics were already at the project site, the team proceeded with the inspection on the same day.
This allowed Acciona-DMCI to have two different heavy equipment units assessed during a single site engagement.
Although the SANY Pumpcrete Truck and HOWO Tractor Head perform very different functions, both units are important to construction and logistics operations. Tractor head trucks are commonly used for transporting trailers, construction materials, equipment, and other heavy loads between locations. Keeping these units in dependable operating condition is therefore important for maintaining transportation efficiency and minimizing unnecessary interruptions.
The additional HOWO Tractor Head inspection demonstrated the flexibility of Happy Hoisters Inc.’s technical team in responding to additional equipment requirements while already deployed on site.
Rather than limiting the engagement strictly to the originally scheduled unit, our mechanics were able to assist with another equipment concern and provide Acciona-DMCI with additional technical information regarding the condition of its fleet.
From Equipment Inspection to Spare Parts Supply
Following the inspections, Happy Hoisters Inc. provided recommendations based on the actual condition of the equipment and identified the components that required replacement.
Acciona-DMCI subsequently proceeded with the purchase of the required heavy equipment spare parts from Happy Hoisters Inc.
This marked an important development in the project.
Instead of the engagement ending after the inspection report and technical recommendations, Happy Hoisters Inc. was also able to support Acciona-DMCI with the replacement components required to address the findings.
By providing both technical inspection services and spare parts supply, Happy Hoisters Inc. helps customers reduce the complexity of coordinating multiple suppliers for a single equipment concern.
The technical inspection establishes what the equipment requires, while the spare parts supply helps the customer proceed with the recommended corrective actions.
For companies operating heavy equipment fleets, having access to both services can help simplify the maintenance process and provide better continuity between diagnosis and repair.
The Project Progressed into Preventive Maintenance Service
The engagement did not stop with inspections and replacement parts.
Following the initial technical assessment and spare parts supply, Acciona-DMCI also entrusted Happy Hoisters Inc. to perform Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) on its equipment.
Preventive maintenance is an important part of heavy equipment management because it focuses on maintaining equipment before major failures occur. Depending on the equipment and required maintenance interval, PMS may involve checking critical systems, inspecting components for wear, replacing maintenance-related consumables, lubricating moving parts, and evaluating the overall condition of the unit.
For equipment that operates in demanding construction environments, scheduled maintenance can help improve reliability and support longer equipment service life.
By proceeding with PMS after the initial inspection and parts procurement, Acciona-DMCI was able to move from identifying equipment concerns toward a more proactive maintenance approach.
The progression of the project from inspection to spare parts supply and preventive maintenance also allowed Happy Hoisters Inc. to provide more comprehensive technical support instead of addressing only a single equipment concern.
